Voiceover & UI for Interactive Media

Keywords: voiceover, multimedia
Languages: english, german, japanese, simplified chinese, traditional chinese, russian

Objective

When RAVEstudio came to Glyph for a bid on localizing the interactive media modules they were developing for Siemens, they had already seen the worst side of the localization industries - the large localization companies playing corporate politics to win major contracts but then providing slow and unmotivated service when it came time to produce the final localized product. That changed with Glyph. RAVEstudio director, Pat Rios, decided to work with Glyph because he "was looking for an alternative to the corporate giants that nickel and dime a business like mine to death. Finding Glyph was kind of like striking gold."

Solutions

Voiceover Alternatives: Across all target languages Glyph was able to quickly provide an interesting variety of voices for the end client to choose from. By flexibly using union and non-union talent and because of our ability to edit audio in our in-house studio, Glyph can keep its costs for voiceover very low relative to competitors' prices.

Agile Services: As a mid-sized vendor Glyph is perfectly suited to projects that require very tight coordination on timeline and complex deliverables. Glyph was able to work with RAVE’s development schedule and the end client’s approval processes to ensure that no time was lost as a result of glitches in project coordination.
